Owner/Managing Director

Patricia is an RN with a depth of experience in healthcare working extensively with the senior population in both Critical Care as a Certified Critical Care RN, a Certified Legal Nurse Consultant advocating for clinical safety and extending her practice into the Home Health Care field. Patricia was a Certified Clinical Research Coordinator and worked on clinical trials for Alzheimer’s, other Neurodegenerative Disorders, the national RAND study, “Assessing the Care of Vulnerable Elders” and has travelled nationally as a clinical surveyor for Hospital Accreditation. Patricia is continuing to bring her knowledge, experience and commitment to the senior community as the owner and leader of Home Care Assistance Of RI.

Gail Pike
Employee Care Associate

Gail Pike RN, is the Employee Care Associate here at Home Care Assistance of Rhode Island. She is a Registered Nurse, BSN graduate of the University of Vermont and retired Navy Nurse who has held various nursing positions in 8 states during her 50 year career - the last 35 focused on education and home health while raising her family in RI.

During her 3 years at HCARI as ECA, Gail has been responsible for the orientation and training of new employees and keeping our staff up to date with inservice and educational development. She has enjoyed the flexibility of working Per Diem with an innovative, dedicated staff who is eager to learn and promote the BCM/CTM model of home care.

Kerry Melton
Client Care Associate

Kerry brings retail management and staff supervision experience to her role as HCARI’s Client Care Associate and Operations Support. Kerry started working at Home Care Assistance in 2016 as a CNA demonstrating her compassion and dedication to clients and their families. Kerry brings her client relations and operations expertise to her new position as the Client Care Associate. Kerry triages client concerns and coordinates daily office operations that support the HCARI clients and families.

Denise Wolf
Staffing Associate

Denise earned her Bachelor Degree in Criminal Justice with a Concentration in Psychology and has over 40 years of scheduling experience working at Johnson and Wales University transitioning to Home Care staffing 10 years ago. Denise is committed to matching the right Care Assistant to meet the Clients' needs and preferences. Denise understands the importance of promoting compatible and enriching connections to assist seniors to remain successful living in their home of choice.

Ernie Robillard
Care Manager

Ernie Robillard RN, M.Div. is a Care Manager at Home Care Assistance of Rhode Island. As a seasoned nursing professional with over 40 years of experience, Ernie brings a host of vital knowledge and a background in a wide array of areas including infection control, geriatric care, patient safety, critical care, quality management and the special needs of veterans. As a former pastor and federal mediator Ernie is able to help families and clients deal with various challenges that they may encounter and is able to offer the support they deserve and need. With a compassionate heart and a high degree of competency Ernie is engaged in the care of our clients working to develop comprehensive care planning, assessments and ensuring quality assurance through regular visits to clients homes. As an educator Ernie keeps the staff updated on the changing needs of the client's and helps families to understand and navigate through the various needs of their family member.

Amy Tucker
Care Manager

Amy Tucker, RN is a Care Manager at Home Care Assistance of Rhode Island. Amy is a registered nurse, CCRI Graduate of 2008, she is also a member of ACNA and RN Certified. Amy has held many positions in the medical field where she has worked in med surg specializing in orthopedic care, hospice care, behavioral health, and private home care. Amy started with HCARI as a care assistant in the field then became CTM certified and is now part of the recruitment and development team. She brings a host of experience as a nurse and an abundance of enthusiasm to our clients and care assistant team. Amy truly understands and embraces the holistic approach to the care we deliver to our clients.

Sabrina Sargent
Business Development Coordinator

Sabrina Sargent, AA, BS, MAT is our Cognitive Therapeutics Method Interventionists Manager and Business Development Coordinator at Home Care Assistance of RI. As the CTM Interventionist, Sabrina has a true passion for reaching every client(s) full creative potential and cognitive engagement levels through the meaningful brain stimulating activities of the CTM Program. She joins Home Care Assistance of RI with a B.S. in Psychology and M.A.T. She brings with her over twenty years of combined professional experience in behavioral health as a behavioral specialist, case manager, and lead therapist and the education field as an administrator, teacher and trainer. As the business coordinator she is driven to build strong client and community relationships through collaborative efforts with community action events for persons living with Dementia, Alzheimers, and all types of cognitive impairments. Her determination and attention to creating both meaningful experiences and community connections make her a valuable member of our team.
